This game is really different, it’s not even a RPG game about a horse it’s a total horse sim on a RPG maker which caught me by surprise. I just wish I could race my horse to see if I breed fastest.

Yes the foal can grow by feeding them a lot, you were on the right path, foals being able to breed is a bug that was patched for the next update, that will include the race as well.
Okay, also the next time I play I’m making the fasting horse and strongest horse to crush my competition and I will name him “Kokuoh-Go”
